Barry Davies

Barry is an experienced naturalist, certified EcoGuide and won the 2009 William Angliss EcoGuide Award of Excellence. For 20 years Barry was a Guide and Activities Manager at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge. In 2012 Barry will lead tours to New Zealand, Tasmania, Norfolk Island and South Australia.

Clair Oelrichs is leading our Kalimantan, Sumatra & Flores tour in 2012. Claire established the “Save Indonesian Endangered Species Fund” to help protect forests and wildlife. As a conservation coordinator, she has intimate knowledge of wildlife and conservation issues and a true connection with local people.

Daniel Feinstein

Daniel lives in Bariloche, Argentina and has worked as a licensed nature and mountain guide for more than 20 years. Daniel's knowledge of South American customs and natural history is outstanding and in late 2012, he will lead tours to Atacama region, NW Argentina & Patagonia.

Lisa Groom

Mitko Petrakiev

Mitko has a passion for trekking, climbing and caving throughout Bulgaria (both in his free time and when leading groups). Along with his outdoor skills, his knowledge of the geography, geology, natural and human history of his native country, will enhance the Bulgarian Winter Wonderland tour.

Rob Elvish

Rob is a terrestrial ecologist, experienced birdwatcher and leads tours with a botanical and zoological focus. Rob has led tours for IPT in Australia and overseas for over 20 years. In 2012 you can meet him on the Karijini to Kalbarri and Australian Alps tours.

Ronny Hickel

Ronny is the designer and guide of our 2012 Northern NSW tour. He facilitates yoga & meditation classes and yatras (walking meditation retreats) in the Northern Rivers area. Living near Uki, he is a trained outdoor recreation guide and psychotherapist involved in adventure based youth work.

Sally Brown

Sally llived in both Kenya and Tanzania before emigrating to Australia in 1984. In 2012 she will accompany our tour to Kenya & Tanzania -  Zanzibar to Samburu. When not leading groups, Sally works as a professional conference organiser and enjoys bush walking and bird watching.

Sivani Mira

Sivani is an enthusiastic guide with over 20 years experience in outdoor education and leading groups. Sivani’s passion for different cultures, adventure and wild landscapes inspires all those who travel with her. In 2012, Sivani will lead IPT guests on a discovery of Bhutan.
