COVID-19 update
FeaturedFrom bushfires to a pandemic - we are living in extraordinary times. As we are all experiencing, the COVID-19 virus has changed the essence of our normal daily lives alongside travel, health and economies across the world.
The health and welfare of our clients, staff and on ground tourism operators are our number one priority at this time. For this reason, we cancelled all tours departing up to the end of August 2020, both here in Australia and internationally. All late 2020 international tours were also been cancelled and we have run just some domestic tours for the end of 2020 as we keep up with government regulations and interstate travel compliance.
For all future tours, we will be taking extra steps to minimise COVID-19 risk and following best practice operating procedures. This includes tag-along options on some tours (self-drive rather than bus travel), additional pre-trip screening for guests, increased hygiene and cleaning practices on all tours, adjusting group sizes where required, physical distancing measures on the tour and increasing our capacity to respond to guests or guides health on tour. We are currently updating all our procedures for future tours and will post further information on our website in the coming weeks.
Our physical office operations are still scaled back in line with government advice and we are working remotely on future planning. Due to this, the best form of contact is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. rather than phone - we will respond as quickly as we can. Please also keep an eye on our social media and our website as we plan for 2021 (let’s just say 2020 has been a trial year!)
Exploring the wonders of national parks, relaxing in the peace of nature, meeting the locals and supporting regional tourism, has been our focus for 45 years. Like you, we are craving to get back into the natural world and hope that you are managing to stay active in your local area. Stay safe over the come weeks and months and we look forward to walking with you again soon.
