Escape to the tranquil beauty of South East Queensland’s Granite Belt, where this walking and wellbeing retreat through the rainforests of Main Range National Park and Girraween National Park invites you to slow down, reconnect, and share unforgettable moments in nature.
Wander beneath the lush canopy of World Heritage-listed rainforest, where gentle creek explorations and quiet forest paths give way to breathtaking lookouts and the option for more adventurous ascents, such as Mount Cordeaux. Set along the sweeping ridges of the Great Dividing Range, these landscapes offer a stunning backdrop for reflection and discovery.
Your home for three serene nights is the inviting Girraween Environmental Lodge, where crisp mountain air, peaceful surroundings, and the gentle presence of native wildlife create an atmosphere of intimacy and calm. Unwind in the spa, take a dip in the pool, or simply enjoy the stillness of cool evenings under a starlit sky.
Known as the “Place of Flowers,” Girraween National Park enchants with its dramatic granite domes, delicately balanced boulders, and softly sculpted creek beds. Explore hidden waterways, climb to sunlit granite outcrops, and pause at panoramic lookouts that stretch across eucalypt forests and heathlands — ideal for capturing memories, sharing stories, or simply being present in the moment.
Each day unfolds at your own pace, with a choice of walks ranging from leisurely strolls to more invigorating hikes. Along the way, deepen your sense of wellbeing with optional yoga sessions, or share the quiet magic of a guided evening walk beneath the stars.
There’s also time to meander through the charming nearby towns of Tenterfield and Stanthorpe, perhaps lingering over a cosy café stop or discovering local treasures.
Your journey concludes with a truly awe-inspiring experience at Bald Rock National Park, where you’ll ascend Australia’s largest exposed granite monolith and be rewarded with sweeping views and secluded picnic spots—an idyllic setting to reflect on your adventure.
This is more than a getaway—it’s an invitation to reconnect, recharge and create lasting memories in some of Australia’s most enchanting natural landscapes.
